The last ones ridiculous, like some people ask others about their plans for a family like just enquiring politely over dinner or just curiously in a kind way. The jar thing sounds like a coping mechanism but it's passive aggressive. "You've unintentionally upset me so I will embarrass you"

People who don't have issues conceiving/never lost a child/etc are so nonchalant about others who are... Asking if ppl are going to have children, if they are mothers on mother's Day etc .. As family, they should know better. And I would have made them put money in the jar too. Most likely these ppl went on about their day while she and her husband had to go home thinking of the ppl asking about when she'll have kids and how hard they've been trying
