You are right. The blame is bad on both sides. I'm about to be 42. My mother taught us to be women first. We didn't have boyfriends in high-school, we didn't wear inappropriate attire for our age or hairstyles. My parents scared the puberty right out of us. A child should stay in a child's place. There are influencers who dress their toddlers like grown women! That's beyond disturbing! My daughter is 11 months old, and she's the height of a 2 1/2 year old boy! She has hips already. My daughter will get the same lessons I received. I'm not her friend. I'm her mother. My parents taught me right is right, wrong is wrong. I'm grateful my parents were helicopter parents. Their prayers and guidance kept us in check and made us the women we are today. My daughter will get the same lessons I did. These girls have easy access, and no discipline. Hell, we weren't allowed to wear lip gloss until we were 16, and let us get outta line! They would embarrass you were you stood. These girls today are fast asf, that's what happens when you take God out the schools, and the right to discipline away from the parents.

Everybody does lie so I don’t ascribe to believe all women but I do believe that all claims should be investigated. And yes underage girls should not approach grown men but they are YOUNG and underage - ultimately it is up to the ADULT ie men that they approach to say no and not entertain them and should be held legally and socially accountable if they do. That’s why there’s such a thing as statutory rape - because underage girls cannot legally consent because of their age.

I feel that we live in a feminist society because the fact that people will believe women period regardless if they’re lying or not is actually sad and disgusting. There are men who got convicted and are currently locked up because of women lying about rape, abuse, etc. and they receive no repercussions whatsoever. We need to hold women accountable for their evil deeds 😢 it’s just not right

I must have missed a chapter or something 😅 all facts though. I dropped my college sorority for this reason my 2nd year in college. Stories for days. I am younger than you and it isn’t nearly as socially acceptable to date older men as it was when my mom was a teenager/20s. The age gaps were more socially acceptable. It’s very much so odd behavior and dating older man isn’t something I have seen any of my friends in HS or college do luckily.
