I really like how the pin curls gave the hair body and movement. I think you are on to something, just make larger pin curls like you said. Have you ever tried one of those heated round brushes? Not the Revlon hair dryer, just a heated brush. It might work just to smooth the curls in the right direction without losing the good curl and volume. Just a thought. ❤

Hey girl! I do have that blow dryer but I don’t feel like it would work on my hair like that. I do use it after I shampoo for my first blow dry. I’m so scary. after I curl my hair, I’m so scared to comb or brush it out. I feel like all my hard work is going to go to waste. Lol

Hey! I was talking about trying a heated round brush, not the Revlon blow dryer that you use after your hair is just washed. This is like a heated round brush that you use on dry hair to touch up on the days following the wash. There's a brand called l'ange GlamWave. There's also similar ones on Amazon.

Instead of separating the curls with your fingers, try to shake your head in a forward motion a few times. You'll maintain the curl, volume and body. Do slightly smaller sections in the front and back so the top/bottom of the hair has a curl to it. That will definitely help with volume too

You should try clip ins . I remember you say you have break outs from hair if I’m not mistaken but get some raw clip ins that color it was be sooo cute
