Nothing wrong with a simple costume like that. What matters is being in the spirit! A little face paint is good in a pinch too. I had a ton of kids show up at my house (some more than once) but I still have a ton of candy left. I only give out king size and giant bars or the theater size boxes of stuff like trolli gummy worms. It's always kinda surprising what is and isn't popular. I had reese's fast breaks this year and I still have like 30 left. I totally agree that the ratio of peanut butter to chocolate is important. The shapes are nice but they have too much peanut butter. That's why the dark chocolate thin cups are the best. And yes! The pull and peel twislers are SO much better than the regular ones. Though the sour blue and green ones are really good too. Almond joys are great but I prefer mounds because it's dark cholate without the almond. It's just perfection. Also it doesn't sound pick me to say you're not super into candy. Some people just don't like sugar that much. That's why I give out chips and stuff too.
