The narrative that blames individuals for climate change needs to stop. Even if you switched your entire life to be waste free, there will still be people out there picking you apart for something new. No worries about your wonderful art. If switching to eco-friendly products makes you feel better, then that’s all that matters. this is so true. i absolutely hate that narrative and i feel the urge to go off on a long rant every time i hear someone try to blame or guilt trip average ppl/individuals for causing/greatly contributing to climate change. corporations and billionaires have done a great job at shifting the blame off themselves and on to individual consumers. it’s manipulative, it prevents us from holding the actual causes (aka greedy corporate entities and billionaires) of climate change accountable, and it’s so, so frustrating :(

Everything you do counts, of course it would be the ultimate if everyone avoided plastic COMPLETELY, but that doesn't mean you're a bad person if you don't have the opportunity to go all in. Everything counts, exactly everything. Every goddamn crumble matter and makes a difference in the end. Sincerely, A 98% plastic-free geek. (if you don't like the shampoo soap, if it makes your hair feel strange, I would recommend apple cider vinegar. mixed with water, of course. Works as a conditioner and removes soap residue. 1 liter of water, 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. spray on hair and rinse . No, the hair will not smell like apple cider vinegar afterwards :) )

These are my absolute favorite videos! They’re so interesting and the sounds are so good! Try not to worry too much about doing too many huge, high effort video concepts. They’re wonderful, but they are also a lot more stressful to put out, and sometimes the algorithm doesn’t return the effort you put into a video, even if it definitely deserved it. I think ASMR videos are not being pushed as much as they used to be, but that doesn’t mean we don’t love them (especially yours, Sophie, they’re the absolute best!). Just keep doing what you love and don’t feel like you’re doing anything wrong if you don’t get the views you did on videos before. It’s the nature of the fickle algorithm and it sucks. You deserve all the views!
