Over 40 years ago when I was a boy, I had to wear glasses for “lazy eye”. Whenever I would go and get my glasses, there was a woman who would perform the fitting...she was so gentle and had such a soft voice, I would almost fall asleep when she was taking the glasses off and putting them on my face. This brings that all back, and It’s glorious.

Cool tie. 👍 Had a very un-ASMRish eye exam tonight ... in hospital emergency dept. 😕 Good news is suspected vitreous detachment rather than retinal detachment, but will get called back in for full assessment when the eye clinic opens in the morning. Not sure eye focused ASMR is going to help me sleep tonight, but giving in a try!
