***** Yes, lots of people do, but that's technically charity work. Any person offering a service, You tubers are offering an entertainment service, can demand something in return. When you watch a video, you enter a contract, they offer you what you want to watch, and in return you give them what they want. -Lets say you go into a restaurant, the service is that you get food, and you in return give them what they want, money. But maybe, someone gives you free food. That doesn't mean that restaurants shouldn't exist or ask for money, or that it isn't a job.

But I don't think ads should be stopped for every video, as some rely on the money they get from their viewers. Having just discovered it has a name (like 30 years later), this is all quite amazing.
