This is as always such a beautiful moment shared. Thank you Anna. Concerning positive/motivating books, I'd like to mention Norman Vincent Peale's "The Power Of Positive Thinking". Long time I have not read it. Thank you for the reminder.

Whenever I'm down, I always read James Doty's Into the Magic Shop: A Neurosurgeon's Quest to Discover the Mysteries of the Brain and the Secrets of the Heart. It always cheers me up and helps me remember all of the good things in life.

I recommend the book Tuesdays with Morrie, by Mitch Albom. It’s a very good book for changing your mindset, it’s a true story, it’s very touching, it’s not difficult to read, and it’s well-written. Sending you love, as I too have struggled with depression and anxiety 💜

That's the right kind of attitude to get you through depressive bouts. We can't help when we're depressed, but we can help our perspective on it. We can do our best to combat the symptoms. And trying to stay as normal as possible even when feeling the depression is very important. Even when it seems impossible. Especially when it seems impossible. That's when it's the most important time to get up and fight it.

I love the suggestion of reading and movies. But with pandemic-induced cabin-fever I've felt this need to be outside to help with depression. I've never been a particularly avid fan of fishing. But there is something about tying my own line and getting out to the lake or river that I find calming. Even if I don't catch a fish... I get a day of me time out of it

Do you know the picture „Pale Blue Dot“? It’s a real photography of the earth, made by an astronaut. In the picture, the earth is just a tiny point in space. When I imagine, all of the personal and global problems that happening and happened only on this dot, I feel much better. Insignificance can be very relieving because all responsibilities can escape for a moment. This always helps me!

I kinda want to recommend "A confederacy of dunces" because of its humor. It's not filled with positivity though. Also, I liked those earrings and that Scheherezade move you pulled at the end!

I tried to absorb all of this video multiple times, but your voice always works its magic on me...but I got most of it. It's a little surprising to hear you talk about this stuff. When I think of you, I think of sunshine. But obviously we all have our problems. I certainly do, and it makes it hard for me to know what thoughts to share that might help. I really wish I could help, since you have always been a beacon of positivity for us in these videos. I know music is important to you and you've said before that you like many genres, but I'm curious...have you ever listened to any kind of metal? Something I've really enjoyed about myself in the last couple years is developing a taste for metal music. Progressive metal, to be specific. It started with just one song, trying to figure out if I liked it, and after realizing I did and listening to more of that band, I was all in. I've picked up 8 or 9 bands in just the last year or so that I really like and it's amazing, because for most of my life I haven't had my own music. I would just listen to what my family liked. I'm the only one now who likes this genre and it makes me feel a little...cool. That might sound a little silly but it's just not a genre most people listen to, and it takes time to digest the songs and pick up on the weird time signatures and polyrhythms and complex guitar riffs. It's a rewarding feeling to figure it out, and on a more emotional side, metal music really feels like an outlet for the negative feelings I get. A lot of metal fans feel that way. I'm not telling you "just listen to metal" but there's a good amount of variety within the genre. It's not just noise.
