Thats called suspension of disbelieve, where you imagine the story to be real in order to follow it. If people weren't able to do that no one would watch movies haha but some people have a lack of it and others have it much stronger. So that explains your over active imagination and deep thrill for movies. I enjoyed the video

Haha that's interesting because when I watch horror movies, I'm slightly detached from the movie so that I don't panic and start getting too scared. I still feel the fear and the emotions that the movie brings but my mind kinds of builds a mental block so that I don't get too into the movie. It's tiring 😂

Jacob's Ladder is one of my favorite horror movies. It's more of a psychological thriller, but the special effects in that movie directly inspired some of the designs of Silent Hill's monsters.

ohhbliviousgaming Korean movies are great for those kind of twists if u liked Usual suspects like I saw the devil or oldboy or memories of murders although those are crime thrillers more than the kind of gangsters thrillers. Dejavue, inside man and man on fire are also this kind of police thrillers with Denzel and I loved em. I saw sicario by Villeneuve and it has the same vibe you should like it. There is also the classics like seven and memento.
