rj is the hardest to take care of because he’s white and is polyester. and with polyester you get those little spores (which idk how to get rid of even when i cleans him)

I love you Papi the material that he was manufactured in is honestly wack and I agree, the little specks of fibers or whatever they are... are super difficult to get rid of, I have to individually pick them with my nails but even then they’re still not 100% gone

marie I wouldn’t suggest that because you’re gonna have to blow the air a long time and your arms may get tired. I’m not sure if hot air is good for the plush dolls so I suggest hanging them up indoors and put a fan directly in front to speed the drying process

It’s better to leave it drying in front of a fan, your arm will tire before the plushie is mildly dry

i guess it kinda depends where you live.. if you live in england/europe you can order one and all the bt21 face pillows from a website called ‘aurora world’ or ‘aurora world uk’,, if you live in america/ canada i’m sure you can go to a store called ‘hot topic’ or ‘line friends’ but i think the only line friends stores are in la and ny ,,if you live in the japan/korea area of asia i’m sure you can go to the actual line friends store and if you live in india/ africa i’m really not too sure.. you could try an online store called ‘cokodive’ or try go onto depop (there are a lot of sellers - that might sell bt21 merch.. i’m just saying you might not be able to but there’s a few ideas :)

I like washing them by hand because it’s a process where I can control how hard they’re being scrubbed or how much soap to use. Laundry is much faster but you run the risk of tearing the stitches if not done properly and the water waste might be too much if you only wash one doll per load

I’m not exactly sure, the area I live in is really hot so 2-3 hours tops, if you leave a fan blowing in front of him it should take less! Also when you do wash him squeeze as much water out so it’s easier to dry

does anyone know how to remove the red stain around his neck? I wish I could have removed the red scarf every once in a while so it wouldn’t stain. 🥺 I’m scared to apply bleach on him as I don’t know if it would react to the polyester 😭

You would want to use a chlorine free bleach (also known as oxygen bleach) to get rid of the stains

I wouldn’t recommend doing it this way as the inside will mold.

What type of soap do you use?

Any type of liquid soap with no bleach should work, if it’s got a color to it just water it down before dipping RJ in the mix so you don’t accidentally stain him with the soap. I changed to laundry detergent a few months ago and it works great!
