They only get me in two cases 1. Forgot my lunch (I work night shift and nothing is close enough to make it back from break on time 2. I’m in town for a conference or business and was not given a rental car/nothing is nearby.

Not only are you paying for the delivery, but you’re also paying a premium for each item in the order; which I can’t stomach when I know I can get the food far cheaper by simply just ordering from each restaurant’s website/app for pickup. Maybe I would consider it if the difference that I’m paying to get delivery is going directly to the courier. Of course, that’s not the case. It’s messed up when you realize the amount of revenue each of these food delivery companies are pulling in annually.

Exactly that’s why I can’t support them at all. I always go out of my way to just order directly from the restaurants website.

I personally do DoorDash and I make around 20-25 dollars an hour granted I only work on the busy days fri-sun as a side hustle but I make pretty good money

I don’t have a car that’s the only reason I used it and every time I do I’m disappointed and mad about it I paid 27$ for one burrito not a meal no side no drink just a burrito 27$
