The first wolf saying "If you are afraid of wolves, stay out of the woods" seems most similar to the English saying "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." I could be wrong of course, but they seemed like they'd get used in similar contexts :)

I'm guessing that because a lot more of the population is rural than in western countries farm cats are a more familiar and appreciated part of everyday life.

Can you please teach about russian name diminutives! I think it’s so interesting how one person can have so many different names/nicknames and how it’s common knowledge for example that Aleksandr -> Sasha although they are nothing alike! I’m curious how the names work!😆

@8:15 another similar English one would be “if you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen”
@softly.bloomingАй бұрын
i think the last one is similar to “you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink” in english. which is you can’t make someone do something/can’t change what they’ll do, you can only guide them so far

Как русская , которая учит Английский и живет в UK я скажу так. Для меня все равно перевод не передает смысла. Например слово дождик- это не просто rain. Это типо «cute rain» , But when I say cute rain, I use sarcasm, so it's amazing how sweet a word we use with sarcasm

Probably a wisdom tooth that had to be surgically removed since it was pressing on the other teeth. Sometimes the dentist allows you to keep the tooth after surgery.
