Hey Sophie, just a quick Idea, protect your designs!!!! I’ve seen countless artists get their ideas and designs and art stolen by copycat brands like Shein and Temu and Amazon. And I’d absolutely hate for it to happen to you, please protect your art ❤️🙏

Shein and Temu have proven pretty undeterred, even by people who throw down the money to protect ideas. When they get complaints, they just temporarily remove stuff then put it back in rotation later. Personally I'd be more worried about 3d printer shops on etsy. They get a design, produce them in bulk, then the stuff disseminates down to the point where popular designs turn up at county fairs and other places with independent seller booths. I can't really go for the 3d print stuff myself, the texture rubs my sensory requirements all wrong. The handmade factor here helps more, people have historically been willing to spend in a higher price range for smaller sellers with better handfeel, if the success of artisnal slime sellers is anything to judge by.

Unfortunately, they'll do it any way and she'd spend thousand on solicitor fees just communicating with the companies who will essentially just shrug it off. They're out of jurisdiction so costs would be huge with little to no chance of enforcement

You can EASILY see how dedicated you are. Both in your beautiful art and in your understanding of your clients. For being such a small company, your product looks sooo professional. Very sleek, smooth, consistent colours. You will absolutely do well in this venture. I can feel the creative buzz in you. As everyone else says, research how to protect yourself your art. You sell a product that in this terrible world, is easy to steal, mass product, and sell. You should never feel compelled to decrease the value of YOUR work just bc it CAN be made as fast as possible. Keep your eyes in your own bubble. Ppl, like me, will find you and cherish you. Thank you for sharing your wonderful fidgets, I plan on buying as many as i can ♥️ - a fellow artist

For example, with the egg, place a metal wire inside the "white part" and solder the magnet to the wire. This way, you can create a "solid frame" of sorts. I hope you can understand me, I'm not sure I can explain it properly in my native language, let alone English. Love ya ❤

I love these! I have some thoughts to share on them: 1. Love the textured mitochondria thing. I love running my fingers over nicely textured stuff. Maybe make it a little bigger? 2. I am IN LOVE with the idea of the magnet ball thing and how they stack! As for the magnet falling off, I would try buffing the surface of the magnet and leaving the inside of the holes unglazed or try to buff the holes as well. Its like with most paints and glues or even pottery; you want a rough surface so that the two objects stick together.or maybe try a differeng super glue, or resin. 3. I would personally prefer the hair to be a bit longer. I do this weird thing where I will wrap my hair around my fingers or make little loops. I do really love the concept, especially as someone who constantly plays with their hair! 4. I love the picking idea but I wouldnt want the nose, personally. I would greatly appreciate a cute strawberry design, or maybe a space themed one? Imagine a slab with many tiny holes for the stars, maybe surrounded by a few "planets", here and there. As an added bonus those could be like the moon where you can put your thumb in it or textured. Maybe a moon with "asteroids" stuck in it, with holes varying in size a bit.

I love all of these ideass so much! If you ever want to make variations on your alien egg fidget design or want to make new ideas with a similar concept, your current design reminds me a lot of the inside of a cell and I think a lot of those structures could be simply made and would be good textures! like the nucleus as a raised dome, the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi complex as kind of swirly back and forth ridges, all the different little cell packages and lysosomes as little raised dots, etc, and it would be such a cute fidget for those of us who are interested in science :)

I am in love with these ideas! And I hope you can make all your dreams come true ❤ I can really envision you having a huge business in the future, in a big scale I mean, like your own brand 😁 PS: I have training as a jewellery smith, so about the magnets I wonder if you could embed a small metal piece within the fidget to keep the magnet “imprisoned”, like certain claws that keep crystals in place in some types of jewellery settings. I was thinking maybe a small thin metal ring, with the outer diameter bigger than the magnet and the inner diameter smaller enough that the magnet can’t escape.

not to self diagnose but im 99% sure i have adhd and i fidget so much and 1 time my friend let me borrow a simple dimple during our exam- dude that thing helped me so much though i did lose my focus on the test like 20 times that fidget toy felt so good to use edit: literally right after i typed this i got distracted by a video essay

I feel like fabric glue would be a good option to bind the pieces together. It’s designed to sort of stretch with fabric so it would probably be more suitable in the fidgets as they move a lot.

I’m working on the hair twizzler design at the moment, but still got a lot to problem solve on it! So will be next month I reckon, if it goes ok! The mini mannequin is up now and then I have some of the other designs coming up in the next couple months 🥰

Idk if you've tried it, but E-6000 works great on my magnets! Also, if you use resin (UV or epoxy), you could do a thin layer over the magnet to keep it secure. But i know not everyone is comfortable using resin

You should try Gorilla glue 2 Part Epoxy it’s super strong and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen people use them with magnets. It’s a really cool idea I hope you can make it work.

This is the first video of yours I watched and I just wanted to tell you, that I think you're really creative. All the fidgets are extremely cute. I won't be able to by anything, cause I live in Europe and shipping over the borders can be really expensive. But I love the concepts especially the hair-twirly and the magnetic ball. I wish you luck at developing it further. Also the protective pouch for the fidget is a really cute idea, since a fidget can become such an important companion. Especially when they're as sweet as yours :) /gen/pos
