I don't suffer from depression nor am I jealous of anyone, but this helped me understand those that are. I do tear myself apart every day, I hate the way I look. My gf says I look great but I don't think so. This is life, we all suffer from things, just know that life goes on, never give up, never take your own life, chase that thrill, let age kill you in the end, but never do it yourself. My trust in Jesus got me through dark times, He can for you too.

I just wanted to say thank you for the video. Part of my issue is being able to open up to the important people in my life and tell them how I'm really feeling. So I'm left in a situation where I'm not good at providing my own self love and I'm not getting any emotional support from those around me because I'm not being honest enough with them. And then when I feel the pain of loneliness I'm more likely to criticize myself for not being independent enough. I was having a really bad day today and I couldn't help myself, so this video was like something I could hold onto in the middle of a storm. The message in it is so true, but self love has been the hardest thing in my life to do

Keep going. That’s all we can do, when life gets tough or you feel at rock bottom (trust me I’ve been there)... you just have to get up, get dressed and keep going. Things do get better. You have that inner strength, and the more you open up to others the stronger you’ll feel in yourself! Start with self love first though, you’ve got this ❤️

When I was in rehab 4 years ago someone said something to me that I always think back on when I'm having a hard time dealing with the stresses of life. He said "God wouldn't give you more then he thought you could handle." I'm not a religious person by any means but I do believe there is some higher power then ourselves. I honestly to this day still think that man was right. Me and my sister lost our father to cancer at a young age, grew up in an abusive home, I've been molested by a childhood friends father, survived being jumped by 4 people, survived being hit by a car skateboarding, survived 2 near drownings, survived a standoff with police where their guns were drawn and the list goes on. There is obviously a reason why I am still here I just haven't figured out what my purpose in life is yet. I posted this very personal comment hoping it helps someone out there that is dealing with depression/suicidal thoughts to let you know that you're not alone even if it may feel like it sometimes. Stay strong, you can do this!

People can be so much stronger if they have a religion, because they believe that there is something that protects you and made you for a reason.

I'm in a way better place in my life then I was 4 to 5 years ago. Sobriety saved my life and I recommend it to anyone that is struggling from alcohol/drug dependency. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for the kind words everyone.

I’m 66 now. But when I was about 18 I had an acid trip and just hallucinated about what I would do if there was a clone of myself. I just remember that I thought I would be the best friend I ever had. I would like the same things and always know what the other “me” was thinking. I built motorcycles back then. I just tripped and thought it would be great to have someone who knew how to work on motorcycles and when riding the other “me” would know how to ride as good as me and I would never have to worry about him running into me like the other assholes on bikes were prone to do.
