⁠@@eniegomeraner2907Yeah, that one little part of the comment didn’t fit in with the rest of it. Been there, done that. Sounds like someone needs to either find some worthwhile people to connect with or work on developing some confidence. Both help, and the latter definitely helps with the former. (Though in my case, the former helped with the latter, which then helped with the former: I gained confidence from certain very special people, and that in turn led to finding more good folks and figuring out who wasn’t worth a goddamn.) I can safely say from experience that the “woe is me” energy does NOT draw in worthwhile friends in most cases. At least, not ones of sound mind. And unstable people tend to be vampires. Sure, I made some worthwhile and loyal friends during my lonely years-some who are still with me ten years later-but a lot of folks turned out to be incredibly toxic and not people I wanted to associate with-even the ones who didn’t actually cross me personally. Bottom line: OP needs a new crew.

Adopted an ill stray kitten thats around 2 months old. He is slowly recovering now. Regular feeding and giving him a warm place seems to have helped.
