@@thinginground5179 Yes, I can guarantee you most french speakers do not sound romantic (whatever that's supposed to mean) in the slightest. Voice, tone and pronunciation are what gives you a sensation of softness. Your lack of understanding of the language probably also helps, considering it allows you to entirely focus on the sounds produced, which are probably new to you for the most part, rather than on the meaning of the words. I love listening to languages like Russian or German for those exact reasons.

Les tests auditifs que se soit en anglais ou en français resteront toujours mes favoris ! Les rp réalistes sont toujours, enfin à mon avis, plus relaxant car on est plongé dans la situation. It's probably been mentioned before, but there's no real need to have an understanding of the (aurally delicious) language to benefit from this content. The attention that i apparently normally reserve for automatically understanding instructions, adapted, or possibly relaxed, and it brought about an interesting new dynamic to the ASMR experience. Very dreamy! On a side note... the high pitched tones really created some intense reactions. Almost like the hypnic jerks that occur when falling asleep. Loved it! Yes, I often ask someone to repeat something they just said. Oh, hang on, that's because my French is so poor. So I don't need a hearing aid after all. I once spent a week in a Paris hotel room (well, not the whole week) with news and weather programs on the TV. My girlfriend (now wife) didn't understand why, but by the end of the holiday I knew if it was raining in the Midi or farmers were blocking motorways. I love just leaving these videos playing in the background. What a great voice. And that's just the cat.
