Nooo the palm rubbing is not. Maybe it is a head massage technique but it absolutely damages hair and bad. Hair is really delicate and vulnerable to mechanical wear. It literally just crumbles away to dust. Trust me I should know. I grew my hair to 3ft after I started focusing heavily on preventing mechanical damages. Even hair ties make your hair break, these intense flat-palm rubs are definitely breaking her hair.

I don't love it, and not because of the suspected hair demage mentioned by others. I don't like the unsteady hands, unfinished movements done for one side, but not the other. This lack of symmetry and a feeling that even in a small degree I cannot anticipate what happens next (no rhythm) makes me nervous, not relaxed :(

These hard flat palm rubs are definitely breaking your hair. Please listen to your viewers. Hair is extremely delicate. It literally just crumbles away to dust with mechanical wear. That flat palm rub is undoubtedly doing more damage to your hair than it seems you realize. Your hair is going to thin on those portions but you won't notice a decrease in density at first. You might get a slight increase in babyhairs or hairs that stick up, out, are shorter etc. The reason for is is because you've effectively sanded the strands down to really thin. You're not noticing a decrease in hair densirity yet because you have the same number of strands (for now) but every strand is just being mega thinned out and made weak. But eventually it will break. Remember your hair is just organically organized dust. It literally crumbles away at the ends naturally. It is extremely susceptible to mechanical damage. The palm rubbing or other things that rub like that make me so uncomfortable to watch I leave the videos that have it. This is the longest I've watched one with that feature because I've been typing a comment haha. I love everything else you do but please be a bit gentler on your hair!!

Meh this one wasn't my favorite, the first half of the video your hands were moving so fast to me it looked like it could hurt the way you were moving your palms so fast on her head. Hopefully it didn't hurt the model! 😂😂🤪 Still gave it a thumbs up though. 👍
