When I got into ASMR originally, it was about experiencing the 'tingle'. Which wore off after a couple of months. I got frustrated with all the silly role plays, clucks, clicks, scratches (and those disturbing ear-cleaning/licking videos!) I started searching for alternatives and came across people such as yourself who are actually incredibly interesting. Whether history, physics, maths, astronomy or even cookery, there are so many out there who clearly put much thought and effort into providing incredibly engaging, interesting yet relaxing subjects for us all to enjoy. I never really knew or understood the historical context that the story of King Arthur fit into! I was already familiar with the characters and variations, but knowing about the reality of the receding roman empire and the subsequent chaos really adds a lot of richness to the idea of this legend. I love it!
