It’s so sad. Our Mothercare stores are closing in the UK and they have been around for 60 years 😭 Went in our local one recently and I actually got choked at how empty it was. Bought all my little boys baby items from there when I was pregnant so holds special memories really. Great videos, Mary x

Apparently the rule of thumb is 9ft of garland per 1ft of tree so a 7ft tree would need ~63ft of garland... Not sure how that even makes sense but I’m sure you can make it work!! 💕

My favorite thing about when a store closes is how they take all the old stock, I mean from years back and sell it lol. When a local Kmart-esque store closed I bought an awesome pumpkin candle that's copyright was 2000 😂

mary I'm wearing my soft super warm charlie brown and snoopy with their tree all winter. I just don't care I love it. I had bad news today and going to end up spending $20,000 on dental work (I"m your age) to keep my teeth because of some wackadoodle autoimmune disease that has no treatment and my Mom said go home and watch Mary do her K-mart haul...hehe

I have to say, you and I have the same thought process. Our local Sears closed recently, I went in a couple of days before they closed and purchased some items. I too kept their plastic bag because it had the old script style Sears name on it. It just looked so vintage and I have it tucked away. Great minds think alike ; )

I think the last few Kmarts in Indiana have all finally closed since the end of the year. There was one a few minutes from where I live that stayed open for a while during the initial closures but it didn’t stay open too long after that. It really is sad when you think about it because it’s something that has been around and well-known your entire life and then all of a sudden it’s gone. So many stores from my childhood and teen years are ending up this way :(
