Great history lesson Miss Bell. Just enough information to get me to want to explore in depth some of the topics you mentioned about the 1900's. All four of my grandparents grew up in the first days of the 1900's. My paternals were German and maternals were Italian. They were all still alive when I was growing up in the 1960's. I'm fact my maternal grandparents pretty much take me because both of my parents had to work. I remember my grandmother telling me all about what it as like growing up. I was a wild child growing up and became my grandma's favorite because so was she. She was a flapper in the 20's and hung out with the motorcyclists and hot rod crowd. Yep, these were the days when men wore shirts and hats when the went out of the house. That kind of stopped in my father's generation, but my grandfather and all the men of his generation had to wear a shirt and it when they went out. Men with hats, lol. Wow, I didn't mean to go on so much. I was just transported back in time there. Well, you look very attractive today Miss Bell. As usual. Thank you for the lesson. Best Regards...

Guglielmo Marconi, 1st Marquis of Marconi(Italian: [ɡuʎˈʎɛlmo marˈkoːni]; 25 April 1874 - 20 July 1937) was an Italian[1][2][3][4] inventor and electrical engineer, known for his pioneering work on long-distance radio transmission,[5] development of Marconi's law, and a radio telegraph system. He is credited as the inventor of radio,[6] and he shared the 1909 Nobel Prize in Physics with Karl Ferdinand Braun "in recognition of their contributions to the development of wireless telegraphy".[7][8][9] However Marconi died in 1937. Tesla died in 1943 and six months after his death the US Supreme Court ruled that all of Marconi's radio patents were invalid and awarded the patents for radio to Tesla. So, for the past 64 years, we still believe that Marconi invented radio. Few actually know of Tesla's radio inventions. Great skirt 😀
