As an Arab, I can say that your pronunciation is good for a non-Arab person. Keep up the good work Jessica 💯👏🏻 بالتوفيق في رحلة تعلمك للعربية 💜✨ I want to say that it is good to learn classical Arabic first (fusha), because through classical Arabic you can read Arabic poetry, stories, and Arabic literature, and you can also communicate with people because all Arabs understand classical Arabic despite their differences in dialects. You can distinguish 5 specific Arabic dialects according to the type of region. The Levantine dialect is spoken by the people of Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Jordan. Frankly, it is the best dialect for me and it is the dialect that all Arabs understand. The second dialect is the dialect of the Gulf countries such as Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Qatar and others. The third dialect is the dialect of Egypt and It is also an easy dialect and all Arabs master it . The fourth is the North African Arab dialect, which is the most difficult because it is a mixture of Arabic, French, and Berber, and even Middle Eastern Arabs find it difficult to understand. I know that because i am from algeria and people find it difficult to understand us here in north africa, There is also the Iraqi dialect, They have a specific dialect that they speak, and if you watch Arabic series or hear the songs, you will know the difference between these dialects. But as I said before, classical Arabic is really better than dialects. Frankly, I am not being flattering, but Arabic is a romantic and rich language, and it is the language of poetry and literature, and all this beauty you will learn by learning Classical Arabic. Even cartoon series for young children are made in Classical Arabic because this helps children learn Classical Arabic, unlike the dialect they learn in their environment.

You pronounce difficult sounds flawlessly, good job. Arabic is the most beautiful language ever... a sentence with 4 words in English, you can say it with like 1 word in Arabic. Very concise and straight to the point If you wanna learn Arabic, just do it, don't be intimidated by those symbols, everything will fall into place eventually.

As an Arab girl from Algeria, I must admit that you speak Arabic professionally. For me and for all Arabs, a person pronouncing the Arabic language with this proficiency is an interesting matter because everyone knows that it is one of the most difficult languages due to the presence of letters that are different from all languages in the world. It is also considered the only language that has inflection, which is useful in determining the movements in the letters because every word in the Arabic language has a place. In addition to that, it expresses the language of poetry and literature, as it is the language of the Holy Quran. I am very, very proud of you for this proficiency and eloquence. I congratulate you🥰🤩

ARABIC alphabets are there in the Urdu alphabets except some letters that are pronounced a little differently. There are many Arabic words in Urdu, Farsi, Turkish etc. الحَمدُ لله . ARABIC is easy for people who want to learn it for the sake of ALLAH ALONE. الحَمدُ لله . There no speech in the world like The Qur’an. The Qur’an is not poetry. The Qur’an is The Speech of ALLAH.

Arabic is the only language that has multiple dialects, and each Arab country has a dialect, for example, the North African dialect (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya), the Gulf dialect (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, the Emirates), the Levant dialect (Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan), and the Iraqi dialect. Each of these dialects differs somewhat from the Arabic language, as the North African dialect is one of the most difficult dialects in the world because it is a mixture of French, Turkish, Spanish, Berber, and Arabic. Classical Arabic is useful for poetry, reading the Holy Quran, watching historical Arabic films, and also for speaking with all Arabs, but dialects are useful for watching series, for example, Syrian or Egyptian, or for watching Arabic videos, etc.
@lailahwcusansdbdbАй бұрын
I‘d say the Libyan dialect is quite different from typical Maghrebi dialects, but other than that I agree with u. It has very few Italian(libya was colonised by Italy), Turkish, or Berber words, unlike Algerian or Moroccan dialects, which increasingly incorporate French. While there used to be some little Italian influence in the Libyan dialect, it’s mostly gone now(especially the eastern libyan dialect). The Eastern Libyan dialect(also spoken in west egypt) is more similar to the Gulf dialect, while the Western Libyan dialect is more similar to the Tunisian dialect but lacks French words. I also listened to an Arab linguist on KZbin once who said the most similar dialects to Fusha are the Levantine and Eastern Libyan Bedouin dialects, which was pretty interesting to me.

As an Arabic I'm impressed tbh, you nailed the pronunciation of the vowels and their sounds which is probably the hardest part of our language and the most unique one. So well done you did a great job. And may I ask how did you learn it? Cause I'm interested in learning other languages as well, so is there any advice you can give me?
@jessicaasmrstudio5 ай бұрын
Thank you!! 🥰 I mainly learn Arabic with the book you see in the video ("Arabic with ease" by assimil), and in the beginning, I also used another textbook. I'd say you should find the right balance when it comes to learning grammar. So, not focusing too much on it (except if you need to at university as an example) but also not too little. Knowing the key concepts of grammar helps a lot with understanding the logic of a language. 2. Learning words out of context helps you remember them more easily than if you're learning with vocabulary lists. 3. Once you're more advanced, listen and talk to native speakers. No textbook is going to teach you everything people say in real life. These are some of the things I've learned so far when it comes to language learning. I hope this helps ☺️

Your pronunciation is excellent, but I have a small note: the last letter in the sentence should be silent (i.e., it should have a sukoon) and its vowel is not pronounced unless you continue the sentence. This is due to a grammatical rule which states that you should not start with a vowelled letter and you should not stop on a letter with a vowel.

[This is what I wanted to say, in English] I am really impressed by your perseverance in those years learning a language like Arabic! Arabic - as I see it - is pretty complicated and can be frustrating sometimes for foreigners to understand its writing (many prefixes, suffixes, diacritical marks) and depth of its grammatical, syntactical rules. I have always felt that German was too complicated for me to endure in studying! After seeing this video, if so god wills, I'm going to give it a try.

Most of the time, I use the book that you see in the video, "Arabic with ease" by Assimil, and in the first year of learning Arabic, I also used another language course book called "Salam" (but it's in German). Maybe I'm also going to make a video in which I'm showing you all the resources I use to learn Arabic😉
