I loved working at the library, the peace and quiet, occasionally looking at a book you were restocking; helping a patron find a book, recommending books, etc. It was a fun time. 😀

This brings back memories of going to our library every Thursday with my mum and sister as a child. Libraries are very ASMR rich; the quiet, the crinkly covers, neatly displayed books..!

Thank you for this lovely video Rebecca. It reminds me of when my Grandad used to take my sister and I to our local Childrens library in Yorkshire England. It brought back so many lovely memories, I can still feel his big strong hand holding mine as we walked down the stone steps to the entrance. It was a weekly treat and we loved it. I love libraries. I remember my college days when I would spend HOURS there studying for tests or working on research - back in the day before the Internet was a thing. I remember sitting at the tables and hearing the crinkles and pages turning and getting soooo sleepy. One time I took a nap and woke up an hour later! ASMR wasn't on my radar back then - had no idea. There are so many people with good memories of the library, Vivian! I feel like an outsider in this. I rarely ever went. My idea to make these videos stems from my kindergarten class. Teacher read to the class and the book sounds were etched in my brain. Book dust jacket crinkles are the best! Thanks for dropping in! 🤗❤️

Is it any coincidence, I wonder, that my favorite ASMR channel is the creation of someone with such naturally wholesome, genuinely and quietly humble values? (And therefore with a wonderful sense of humor about herself?) I have three favorite books and a couple of favorite book series. B I have read "Gone With the Wind" three times. I have read "Sacajawea" twice. And I absolutely loved "Follow the River". my favorite book series have been "Mark of the Lion" by Francine Rivers and "The Chronicles of Narnia". But, of course, there is so much more than that. These are just my best memories. I think all of my tastes run toward historic events. How about you?
