I’m glad you added the part about it not meaning your hair is dirty. Your actually more likely to get lice if your hair is very clean because it’s easier for the nits to attach to your hair. So if you get lice please don’t ever feel ashamed or embarrassed. It happens to a lot of people. Also, olive oil is a great remedy. Works a million times better than most treatments. It keeps any more eggs from attaching to your hair and kills any lice. Leave it in over night and then use the lice comb in the morning. Just in case anyone reading this ever gets real lice and not asmr lice 😅

As a teenager who has always had oily hair and a lot of dandruff, I can confirm that this happened multiple times during elementary and middle school. Except the nurses weren’t as nice, they asked for u to come for a lice check-up in front of everyone, and they did not offer treatment to help with the itching🙌

When I was a kid (I say around 8 or 9), I used to put some hair products in my hair because my hair was really curly (my hair is still curly as an adult but back when I was a kid it was so curly) and my mom struggled to comb it down so after I take a shower in the morning she would put some hair products to help make it easier, and at the time we didn’t know that white particles were left behind so one day at school, my teacher thought I had lice and turns out it was just the hair products and not lice. xD

i remember having head lice in primary school and everyone (including teachers and nurses) made so much fun of me. even after i had the treatment and the lice were gone, other kids wouldn’t play with me and they never let me live it down until i left that school. this was really calming to watch and i felt a sense of comfort when she explained that having head lice doesn’t mean you’re dirty; it was all so gentle and personal and i feel much better about what happened. thank u for making this video 🥺

@@Bxby_yanixxx ah i can’t remember exactly but after cutting my hair (from waist-length to a short bob) i know there was a specific type of shampoo i had to wash my hair with every day which would kill the lice and then my poor parents helped use the lice combs to remove the eggs and dead lice ... we made sure to wash my pillowcase and bedsheets every few days too and just repeated this process for about 2 weeks until it was all gone

I haven't ever heard about school nurses checking if students have lice. In my school if someone has lice, the nurse just sends a message that the parents can check if their kids have lice themselves. If they have, then they just treat them and it doesn't affect school at all :D
