No matter the size, pets have a huge impact on your life and losing them is so hard. My wife and I lost our pet fish this past week and we’re still feeling it deeply. Sending you lots of love and healing ❤ Side note, Pickle looks so much like my girl Abbie! She’s a tortie too, and every time I see her I’m shocked by how much they have in common.

Cbd is awesome! But also lots of playtime to help her destress! Since she’s older like 5 minutes of play is usually enough for my 10 ur old, when he was going through anxiety we’d have 4 short play sessions a day :)

Jules this is so me 12 years ago. I held my beloved male cat in his death last hrs. It is not for everyone and it is never to be forgotten in my lifetime. I did it all... obsessed with analyzing and trying to interpret his behaviors. I had great vets that I consulted with a lot. 😢 How long has Pickle been taking the Cosequin because her inability to jump effectively as you described and you noticing her being cautious when you touch her hind quarters may be related. The cosequin may take time. ❤ My female furbaby stayed with me for 20 years so I know how invested you are. ❤

Pet deaths are hard. I still miss my princess. I keep her paw prints in a case on my shelf. They're always with us no matter where they are.

Our fur babies are a beautiful gift, its so hard as they age and the loss of them!! I had some really good luck with spruce CBD oil for aniamls!! ❤

I just moved into a small, 380 sq. ft. 1 bedroom apartment, after living in 2,200 sq ft house with a one acre yard for 30 years. It is a tough transition... and it was rough on my 10 y.o. cat, Biscuit. The trick is to keep her environment as close as you can to the old one... her furniture, litter box, tree, etc., should be carried over to the new place as much as possible... that new litter box could be a big part of the problem. I kept as much as i could and Biscuit has made a relatively smooth transition from a big house and yard to a small apartment and no yard. Btw, i love the name, Pickle and shes a pretty cat. I wonder if she may have dandruff or dry skin on the base of her tail. You mentioned joint issues and also weight gain, and both of those can limit their ability to clean some spots like they used to (the base of the tail being a particularly tricky spot!) One of my two cats is a chonker and I noticed he had some dandruff on the base of his tail recently and looked into it so that's what i found! He lost some weight and seems to not have dandruff anymore, but that could be the case with Pickle!

Pet death no matter how big or small the creature is very hard. After a few pet losses in recent years the revelation that we have an endless amount of love to give to them (both while they were with us, and to any future furry family), brings me a lot of comfort ❤ they know they are loved.

Oh, poor thing! I'm so sorry for your last experience with Puppy's passing - heartbreaking! Hoping Pickle gets comfy in your new home/routine and that her anxiety levels out. Will you get more mice? Maybe if Pickle gets a new mouse playmate to watch, she'll be happier?

My old man is 14, too! He can be such a pill, but I'm so happy that he can move as well as he did when he was young. Especially when hes chasing his sister that he hates 🙄

That could be a dermatitis issue. My cat does not like her back touched because she has a condition called stud tail and it is painful. Their skin is much more sensitive than ours.
