An easier way to cut the mango is to skip peeling, cut off each side parallel to the pit, then score the inside in a checkerboard pattern. Use the skin to flip it inside out, and you can eat the chunks or slice them off the skin. I’m Filipino, this was how I was taught to handle a mango.

Here in Brazil we NEVER eat beans for breakfast, only for lunch. Mushrooms and salad are not usual for breakfast either! So interesting to me and I would love to taste all of that.

This is the epitome of content right here. Everything flows so naturally. And while it was interesting enough to keep me watching the whole time, it was also mundane enough to make me feel relaxed. And the inclusion of your conversation at the end while eating together was really comforting. I honestly don't think I've ever seen something like that before. It was just a normal conversation between two positive bright souls, but I think it is a helpful reminder of the little joys we can find in every day life. Omgosh this is amazing! I need all the help for cooking I can get, and to get tingles as I learn to cook! And I love watching people cook or organise and tidy their house or anything homely so this is just perfect! I personally need as much info as possible, as many tips and even ‘common sense’ comments as cooking does not come naturally to me so I panic and end up making silly mistakes. On cooking shows they tend to chat instead of narrative everything they’re doing and why, whereas adding those details works perfectly for ASMR and is exactly what I need to learn to cook! So thank you truly from the bottom of my heart!

You are correct about iceberg lettuce! It's unfortunately one of the few greens I can have in a salad though 🙃 I miss spinach, arugula and kale so much but my stomach refuses to digest them. Anyway! So happy to see more of these. The last 2 weeks my brain is really being stubborn about cooking and eating but watching these vids helps my interest perk back up sometimes. I will absolutely look into those mangoes cause I want to make that shrimp taco recipe. Lovely to hear Niko again too! I have a glass top stove too and I consider it "counter space" and put my plate on it while I'm cooking. I live in Texas and you can definitely get elote year round, it is soooo gooooood! I'm loving the cooking videos, my favorite vid of yours is an old David's Tea tea video where you go through the flavors and make some tea ❤ You know, I've been watching your channel for like almost 10 years now and there was a story you told about Niko that always pops in my mind. It was when she was working at a coffee shop in Jersey and served coffee to Snookie. And you (maybe you were a little star struck?) asked if Niko wrote "Snookie on her cup, and Niko was like, "Her name is Nicole, I wrote Nicole." I just love the way Niko is so pragmatic, it was that same when she said she wasn't into to icing on cookies, it cracked me up!
