Thank you from the bottom of my heart. My husband and i both suffer from PTSD sleep is a treat but since listening to you im getting more and more hours added. From 2 to 6 even 8. Now. My husband even said we are getting back to our old selves joking laughing again. I never knew ASMR was even a thing until recently and took me a bit to find the perfect fit. Also loved the fire and music versions, music was well chosen.🙏 Like many on this thread, I too am a survivor of SA, and it’s been a long time since I had a bed partner. Others comments make me realize your ASMR is making me feel safer too. This vid also reminds me of when my childhood best friend and close cousin used to crawl in bed with me when we were little and I had nightmares. He was eldest, always tasked with babysitting, and was the best surrogate brother a girl could ever have. Joe would brush my hair and talk softly until I was asleep, very like this. He died years ago, but even when we were grown we would still comfort each other like this when life got too horrible to bear, and watch over each other’s sleep, innocent and sweet. Even the cool flannel you used was on point, as he did the same. This was like having Joe back for a few moments - thank you so much. ❤
