Whenever the ladies would come and do the lice checks in my school with their special lice checking combs/tools I would get so excited because it always felt so good! I would always get asmr. This was before it was even called ASMR and I thought I was the only one who experienced it. Everybody thought it was relaxing but nobody else said that they could feel a tingling feeling inside their head like me. I told them that it happens at different times depending on what's going on but none of my classmates/friends said they experienced the feeling. I literally thought I was the only one until I found whisper videos which then eventually turned into ASMR.

@@Missliaz No one ever did lice checks at my schools in the US, and I don't recall anyone ever HAVING lice that we heard about. The first reference to lice I ever encountered was in Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House books, but it wasn't until I moved out of the suburbs and into big cities that I started to hear about lice still being a potential problem. I'd assumed it was something the 19th century had had to deal with but that was no longer an issue.
