the reason it wasnt raining in your house was because the game doesnt let rain happen in deserts and the game claimed that area as a desert kinda more of a beach (which the game can claim as a place) but it's not for me to say haha

the strange noise was the villager getting stuck in the wall you can actually see him in the back in black
