Purchase date is interesting! I actually think that would make a lot of sense in relation to how I conceptualize my movie purchases. My system makes very little sense but it works for me - if anyone else is looking for a specific movie it might take them a while though 😅

@@AverageASMR Actually, I think your system is not that uncommon. As long as it feels right to you and you find what you're looking for, all is good. I'd be lying if I said I always immediately find the movie I am looking for. Most of the times I rely on a database app on my phone, where I register all my movies, to guide me in the right direction. 😄

haha me too! It was combining two classic genres. And Scooby Doo + Batman is another great one. My fav growing up was scooby doo, but my husband's was he-man, so we recently re-watched the live-actions of each and that was a whole adventure lol Scooby for the win :D

Thank you! They kind of are. I bought the shelves at Target, and then I bought an extra one (they're the room essentials, and they go on sale fairly regularly), and used the shelves of that one to make extra shelves. :)

Thank you for the heads up! I still haven't watched it but im trying to watch all of the movies I own but haven't seen by the end of the year 😳 but I struggle with the animal movies because I want nothing bad to happen to them for the duration of the film and that never happens lol

Batteries Not Included vs Short Circuit?! That is a hard one but I think I would have to go for Batteries Not Included. Jessica Tandy is just too amazing. Also, I loved Super 8 as well. It gave me Goonies vibes! haha

I love jaws! I don't have it in my collection yet, but it's absolutely a great movie - the making of the movie is pretty interesting too! I need more of those classic movies for sure 😊🧡 I just re-watched Deep Blue Sea which is another shark movie, so it would be the perfect time for a jaws re-watch 😊

Yeah it's mostly just that DVDs are cheaper. I've been buying movies for a lot of years, so it's also partially just that a lot of them are old. And my old laptop wouldn't play blurays, so I didn't seek them out :)

Yes! I love that movie, and no one else ever talks about it. It's so fun, though. The Nice Guys, Lucky Number Sleven, and Logan Lucky are all kind of weird and fun movies like it that I like too. Kind of? Lol :)

I'm always jealous of a good collection :) I'll definitely be adding to my superhero collection, and I love horror movies so that's always something I'm looking for (I have so many newer ones I want!). :) I have absolutely no idea what my favorite one is! :o There's too many to choose from. Lion King, Lost Boys, Legends of the Fall, Les Mis - apparently I like L movies lol :) but there are so many more that I could name. What are some of your favorites? And your favorite horror movies? :)

My utmost favorite horror movie is George Romero's Night of the Living Dead 1990. then The Friday the 13th series, Resident Evil movie series, love Insidious movies. I absolutely love the movie adaptation of Phantoms by Dean Koontz as well any Stephen King movie adaptation movies too especially Rose Red. For Superheroes it be All the Batman ones, Wonderwoman, Aquaman, Green Lantern and most of the DC ones. The Marvel Avengers movies were excellent but I expected that outcome just like it was in the comics but my favorite of Marvel was definitely Captain America. My favorite Disney is Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin.

@@Wesker113A I also love the Friday the 13th and Resident Evil movies (I was watching Dark Angel where they basically had a Resident Evil plot and it was enjoyable). And the Underworld series. I liked both the Insidious and Conjuring series :) Haven't seen Phantoms, but adding it to my watch list, and I'm a big fan of Stephen King adaptations. My favorite one is The Stand not because it's the best adaptation, but because it's one of my favorite books, and I just like it lol I love the Marvel movies, but I grew up on DC, so I'm a big of the idea of them if not always the execution lol Wonder Woman is my favorite recent one, but I love the Batman/superman ones. I also liked Green Lantern, and that may make us the only 2 lol And Aladdin is another favorite Disney movie, and I loved the live-action version of it so much. Wall-E and Big Hero 6 are also some favorite animated ones :)

I see you have DC & marvel movies..that's a great collection LOL I love DC & marvel movies, I love conjuring movies, Jurassic Park movies are good too, Oooh I love fast & furious movies, they're my all time favorites, and the LOTR trilogy are the best movies has ever made and the Hobbit trilogy are good ones too, but I prefer the LOTR, HP movies are good too, I like all 8 of em, and I especially LOVE star wars movies, and the walking dead is a good one, great series 😁 sorry I said too much LMAO

My comic movie collection is so random right now but I'm working on it lol 😄 i love horror movies and I know everyone is tired of haunting style ones, but I love them 😊 fast and furious is one of my all time favorites but I like the first 5 the best (except 3....) lol Visually the LOTR and the hobbit are phenomenal and im interested in the Amazon TV show coming out. HP is iconic 😊 and I loved the first few seasons of the walking dead because I love zombie things but then I stopped watching and never picked it back up lol

@@AverageASMRoh yeah, I SOOO can't wait to watch the LOTR series about how to make the ring, man I wish I can have Amazon prime 😕 right now the walking dead is the final season and I'm glad that Negan is good cause I don't like when he killed glen & Abraham, it fucking pisses me off, it was sad that Carl died, and it was fucking sucks that the governor killed Herschel ( the old man), about fast & furious movies you're right, the 3rd one sucks cause they're in Tokyo drifting and I thought Han died and the 9th one, the fast saga I'm glad that he's back from the dead LOL I personally like the 5th one when they're in brazil, the 6th where they're in London, no wonder Dom is not appeared in the 2nd..idk why lol, I like Roman, he is the most funniest person in every F&F franchise LOL he makes me laugh 😂 I have all 9 or 10 of them on blu ray, in HP movies I'm glad that they grew up so fast during these movies franchise LOL, in the Hobbit & LOTR trilogies I like both versions between theatrical & extended versions, all 4 avengers are good and it was sad that iron man & black widow died, I almost cried 😔 LOL I know that I obsessed about star wars movies 🤣, for example I like the empire strikes back about Darth Vader reveals on Luke that he's his father, it was SOOO shocking LOL

I'm glad it's not just me! I always feel bad making that complaint, but for real, the writers made all the other characters fun....but Buffy was annoying! I don't know if it's that she didn't have a lot of character growth, or if it was that her whole plot was about who she was dating at any given moment, but it got old quick lol

For me it's Buffy's personality that makes her annoying. She reminds me of the popular girls that I didn't like. Also she whines a lot. She is entitled to some whining because of all she's been through but it's too much. Also every now and then she does things that are completely out of character. But I will still watch. Most of the others are awesome. I'm a huge Spike fan for example.
