Thank you so much, also for the support in my recovery. Recovery goes well until now! Today I did a scan and upcoming Tuesday I will hear the results. I feel great and hopefully this will be reflected by the scan results. Wanted to wish you well as well and thank you for your very kind message!

I’m very sorry to hear about your accident, but incredibly glad to hear you will still be walking in the future! As a fellow spinal fracture victim- I’m eternally grateful that I dodged the paralysis bullet. So many aren’t as fortunate. Rest and mend my friend.

Oh you've also fractured your spine!? It really does feel like "dodging the paralysis bullet". It sounds weird, but in the given circumstance I am feeling happy because of that. It is not optimal now, but it could have been a lot worse! Did you recover fully? Or did you also have some chronical pain now after recovery? And is your back strong again?

@@ASMRMusic I did indeed. Compression fractures on T6, 7 and 8. It was a number of painful months in the back brace, but following that, the worst was that prolonged standing would give me trouble. That lasted a few years. Now, being a decade away, I have almost no ill effects. I even opted for a standing desk at work! I’m a firm believer in staying active and like to think that mindset over the years aided in my recovery. What was the nature of your fracture if you don’t mind my asking?

@@smilingpolitely8294 Hey :) Oh wow you actually had multiple vertebrae fractured.. Thank you for your positive words... I also believe in an active mindset helping the recovery. And it sounds like you've had a long recovery but that you actually managed really well to get through. And now that you even acked for a standing desk :D I don't mind you asking at all, please do. Mine is T5, only one, compressded indeed. But it is a "stable" fracture so I didn't need surgery. The docters said I probably have to wear the brace for 6 weeks and the total recovery will take about 3 to 6 months. We will see. And if I may ask (you don't need to answer off course), did you need surgery or was a brace sufficient? Thank you for sharing your story. It actually helps ☺

@@ASMRMusic Yes, like yours, there was no surgery. If I recall correctly, there really wasn’t much they could do beyond stabilizing with the brace and medicating for pain regulation. The meds sure made a difference, but also offered a false sense of security. Occasionally, I’d fall asleep and accidentally miss my next dose, and boy, waking up with the full register of pain was not a fun experience. Have you been able to sleep? I remember that being very difficult for the first while.

@@smilingpolitely8294 Oh wow yeah, that pain medication indeed gives a false sense of security. Your fracture was a lot worse than mine is what I can read by your comment. It must have been intense for you, especially the sleeping part. Also the fact that you cannot move well and indeed a "miss" in the medication makes the pain come back again. For me luckily the pain was already bearable without pain medication. Occasionally I do find myself moving a but on my side, which I am not allowed to do, but then I wake up (with some weird feeling in my spine) , returning to the backl again. I am a back sleeper, so I have luck overall... It must have been a tough recovery for you... If I imagine it being lots worse than me (already struggling!). Glad you've recovered well! Also brings hope to my recovery! Thank you!

I feel like you're so... free? Once again, just like back in the day, I see you're in your element. The rhythm of your steps is so well synchronized with your lovely song... Hey, thank you so much for asking ❤️ I am doing really fine. Recovery is going slow, but I can already make some music again and the “scans” of my spine until now are good. Half august I will be having a CT scan, where they check if the bone heals well. Hope this will be positive. And in the meanwhile doing what I can to recover well and to create new music. Thank you so much.... that is so kind especially the fact that you want to buy me a video game haha ❤ I am very fond of video games, especially Rocket League and I also play sometimes Magic the Gathering (a card playing game, but online by playing the videogame). Also I am doing lots of small sessions where I try to make music and search for ways to keep doing it, since I really enjoy doing this! Even more maybe now in this weird situation if that makes sense.. Thank you. Do you have a favorite videogame? And you even listened to actual version of the song (with singing and all), I am so happy :D I really want to keep writing songs and become more natural in the social media (youtube included). It is a nice journey and still not there yet by a large margin but I am enjoying it so much! Thank you as ever for your kind words, it really makes me happy. Thank you for that.
