Maresca did well at separating the squad-it was too oversaturated and heavily rotated now there’s actual competition

He has the advantage of having a second competition to use his squad in comparison to Poch last year to be fair. Also helps that the conference league is so horrible you can play whoever you want and still win so it keeps morale up and the second squad happy because at least they get playing time. I'm holding out to see how Chelsea handles champions league football next year which seems all but guaranteed

Not the Chelsea rant I wanted to see this time of the year, I was praying for another stinker + hooked Chelsea manager and you guys looking for a new manager around this time. He's managed expectations well so far within the squad which seems to help their mentality, but to be fair I don't like how most Chelsea fans are playing this humble "lets get 40 points first" nonsense. You've sold a lot yes, but the net spend is still ridiculously high so you expect to be competing for everything and it was shocking that until now you weren't. I'm not saying you're doing this by the way, you've been talking with a lot of chest that Chelsea can win it all this year

Out of the 4 teams in the title race I hope Chelsea win it. As a Man Utd fan obviously I don't want Liverpool or Man City to win it. Arsenal winning would be awful because their fanbase would never shut up about it
