I had knee issues when I started too. I was lucky enough to fix the problem through strength training. Bulgarian split squats did the trick. I feel like trail running helps too. Hope you heal up soon!

I dont wear a hat when I do cardio. I am far from being able to run too long without being so out of breath my ribs hurt so I do a mix of walking/jogging/running. All I need are my headphones and I work with anything.
