I’m born, raised and still here in Nashville. It’s crazy to think that the whole “Nashville Hot Chicken” originated from a little hole in the wall off Dickerson road called “Prince’s Hot Chicken” which is the original, REAL Nashville hot chicken, made famous by Guy Fieri and started the hot chicken craze. So if you ever come to Nashville, you HAVE TO try them, the creator and original ♥️ get the mild though 😉

Love these videos ❤️ Just a bit of advice…next time that you eat anything that is too spicy then try eating a piece of chocolate (I tend to let the chocolate melt in my mouth) and this will instantly kill the heat. Drinking water or milk seems to only intensify the heat.

Milk usually cools the spice down but water will mix the spice around your mouth just making it hotter.

I prefer vanilla ice cream or a vanilla shake because they are cold but they serve two purposes in eating hot food. One is to supercool the mouth with the cold of the frozen ice cream. I will let you read about how casein in milk binds to capsaicin to remove the heat. Drinking milk can also help with heartburn if you don’t have medication readily available. Edit: I tried to add the link but it wouldn’t let me. Just Google how milk helps when eating hot food.
