You sound like one of my foster mothers, she wasn't much of a Baker but she loved trying to make sweet treats with me, laughing when she did things old fashioned. She loved children but didn't have a partner so she fostered children instead, mostly special needs kids, like me. Too be fair I don't remember what she looks like considering I was only 6-7 but I remember her sweet voice, laughter and the loving vibe she gave off and I just got massive nostalgia from this. I wish I could meet her again.....anyway I'm rambling, Great video! 💖

I wish I could smell the cookies. They're very nostalgic for me because my mom would bake these right before house showings when selling the first house we lived in. We'd take the cookies with us during the showings, too, and just sit in the car eating them while we waited for them to be done. Baking tip: for less mess in drop cookies, chill dough for about 20-30 minutes in the fridge. Makes it slightly less sticky when scooping and handling.😉

Ahh, your baking videos are just my favourite ever! I love to listen to them while I study - they help me focus and, if I get overwhelmed, I can just spend a few minutes watching and they help me to relax. Amazing, thank you :) The cookies look delicious! I'm really in the mood for some now. I bake a lot, and sometimes my cookies stick together too - what I do, right after I remove them from the oven, is run a blunt table knife between them right where they stick together. That frees them really neatly, means you don't need to worry about pulling them apart, and is a really satisfying thing to do in my opinion! Maybe I'll take a study break - I have some cookie dough mix I froze a little while ago that seems to be calling to me.... (Really glad you recovered from covid by the way - my partner's currently recovering from it too. This last year has been a very sobering reminder to look after each other.)

I really looooove this video!!! Just a quick tip! U should let the dough chill in the fridge for at least 30.mins and then again after you put the dough in the tray. This way they will all bake the same way! Also, you can add a tablespoon of cornstarch so the cookies don't spread that much! I hope it helps :)))

No telling peoples reasons for thumbs down. It’s more a game for some. They might think, “this isn’t my favorite kind”. It might be as simple as that. It could be as extreme as someone trolling for another competitive channel. Or maybe some people are on here that dislike me. Who knows? Thumbs down mentality makes no sense to me. But don’t worry for my feelings Summer. I’m learning to get along with it all. But you are so sweet to be defensive for me. I do get all your views though.
