You were correct in that Mike Shanahan and Ed McCaffery won super bowls together but it was while Ed was in Denver, not San Francisco. Ed McCaffery did win a Super Bowl with the 'Niners but George Seifert was the coach. You're right about being bummed. I have an annual depression evertime the Cowboys inevitably bow out every year 😅. Your coach/son analysis is definitely correct. A leader is not born, it is learnt. My dad was a head football coach my entire life. My older brother is now the head coach of one of the most notorious high school football programs in my state.

Patrick Mahomes is the most talented player ever to play football. Tom Brady is the GOAT because he has more Super Bowl titles, but Mahomes will one day be the consensus GOAT. Of course he gets praised by broadcasters. It is exactly what should happen. Do you think broadcasters didn't heap praise on Michael Jordan or Wayne Gretzky? It's not bias. They are correctly praising his greatness.

I have so many views on nepotism, just look at Bill Belichick and the Patriots. How did his sons deserve coaching jobs in the NFL? I'm sure they have good knowledge of the game but they only got there jobs because of their dad and had no previous experience as a coach or player in the NFL. Kyle Shanahan coached a year in CFB and 6 years in the NFL before joining his father's coaching staff with the Washington Redskins. He wanted to pay his dues and learn for himself so that people wouldn't see him as someone who rode his daddy's coat tails.

Mahomes is pretty darn good. I hate that fact like you, cos I don’t like him for some reason, like you. I want KC to lose all the time, but that doesn’t change the fact that he is insanely good. His family is pretty disturbing too. Dad with drinking problem. Brother with a lot of things that I can not write down. And a very annoying wife. If Patrick can “survive” in this environment for ten more years and still be the best in the NFL, I may start to like him for this achivement 😂 honestly he should ditch his whole family, they don’t deserve the fame, the money, the easy life that Patrick brings to the table…
