Good job with the video, I’m actually a lice specialist I diagnose and treatment human head lice in a salon, some of the information from the book was correct but for anyone struggling with lice here’s my PSA, lice don’t live in the environment since they only survive on human blood so there’s no need to crazy clean. It is very unlikely to get lice from hat/brushes etc. Lice can live on 1/8th of an inch of hair. Lice don’t discriminate they go to all people and hair types. Lice can only live in the hair on our heads, because the heat from our head incubates the nit or (eggs) Lice shampoo and over the counter products aren’t working anymore the lice have become resistant the beat was to treat is with a professional grade nit comb and some water and conditioner if your trying to treat at home. From lice prevention keep the hair contained in buns and braids and use essential oils peppermint/teatree/lavender/lemongrass/rosemary any that smell like a plant add them to some water in a spray bottle and spray on you or your child’s hair every morning before school as it only lasts 6-8 hours. If you have had lice before you may itch sooner rather then later but only 50% of the population itch from lice and if they do I takes about 4-6 weeks to do so, witch is usually when I see clients come in. My mom is a professional hair stylist and she said tea tree shampoo helps keep lice out of your hair to..and using lice shampoo often reduces the risk of lice...but you shouldnt use it THAT often because lice shampoo isnt very good for your hair! Thats all😂ps~ your hair will just get damaged and dry if u use the lice shampoo to much..thats why tea tree is better but again u should use lice shampoo once a week just to be safe😂😂UR WELCOME
