Can you imagine trying to explain to the authors of these letters what would end up happening to them in 80 years time? “Ok so bear with me on this... a girl is going to tap, sniff and whisper this letter to tens of thousands of people who are able to see her from their own homes on small television screens that sometimes double up as telephones.”

I love antique things! There's just something intriguing and fascinating about them, knowing they came from a certain time in the past, or were made to look like so. Every time I walk through an antique store and see all these little trinkets or books, something about them makes me want to buy them, even though I have absolutely no use for them

I’m definitely a very impulsive/impatient person but this channel definitely has made me appreciate quality over quantity dude. She’s so talented and takes so much time and careful attention to detail, but still manages to be so down to earth and serene at the same time... I just don’t get it she’s too powerful 😂 I’d definitely rather her take her time to be comfortable with the content she puts out, rather than seem like she’s reaching for things to talk about or do. I think my favorite thing about her channel is it just seems to be just her doing things she genuinely enjoys, and she doesn’t make it seem like she’s “working”. She’s still always very pulled together though as well. Idk she’s just so great???

There's this show called Violet Evergarden, where she writes letters on a typewriter for people; they often don't know how to write, or even what they truly want to say, so she writes their meaning for them, and then mails the letters. The reading of these reminded me a bit of that show, and I think it would be an amazing role play for you to do, as it's victorian era based, and I'm sure the typing sounds would be lovely!

When my grandmother sends me and my sibling cards, she normally sends one conjoined card with gifts for both of us inside. Same, i find myself thinking about the people and wondering about their lives whenever i see old cards or photos in an antique shop... old cemeteries too. Wondering if they were happy, what heartaches and hardships they endured, how their lives played out. I picture them as children all the way through to passing away, their hopes and dreams and if they ever came true, what they learned about life when it came time for them to go and find myself marveling at the beauty of it all and the speed in which life passes us by...makes me feel a mixture of nostalgia, happiness, and sadness all at the same time.

If you ever do a Q&A video in the future, I'd love to know if you've ever encountered anything in an antiques store that gave you the willies. Every now and then, I run into something in an antiques store that just makes me nervous, for whatever reason. Like one time, I couldn't even stand being in the back room of the store because this one piece of furniture was just giving off really negative vibes. Since you go to those kinds of stores regularly, I was wondering if you had any interesting stories about items that just made you uncomfortable for no apparent reason. Also if you ever found anything interesting that you didn't buy.

Banjo Peppers what a great question!! Also my fiancé is one of those people that is able to see spirits/ghosts. Kinda surreal to hear the names of obscure places in my corner of the Pacific Northwest! Birkenfeld (Columbia County, OR) is literally in the middle of nowhere in the mountains. Astoria to Brush Prairie (WA) is not exactly a short drive, either, perhaps more so in the 1950s (about 2 hours each way today). Certainly quite a drive for an Easter church service.
