I’m an optometric technician in an office which frequently has glaucoma patients and cataract patients coming and going, and I can definitely say that our exams aren’t nearly this relaxing!

This was a home run for me. For whatever reason, when I get my IRL eye exam, it’s relaxing to me. Also I hate tapping in ASMR and there was nearly none in this, which is perfect

Honestly I've started falling out of love with a lot of the medical asmr's lately with the pandemic, still you have a way of making them so comforting 🥰 I'd love to see more "low anxiety level" videos like closet organisation, a cooking class, plant care, colour analysis or something along those lines. I've had 4 eye surgeries and I have to say this was very realistic. Even your calm and nice demeanor. Every surgeon and eye doctor I've had has been very calming with me. Anyway, I loved this! Also, I know I'm late to watch this. I have not been having the best time lately.😞

I really appreciate the soft lighting you have in your vids. It's perfect for watching with the lights off. Sometimes the bright green screen scenes other ASMRtists use (especially for medical roleplays) are way too bright, even when the screen is turned all the way down!

Question: Do you think that regularly listening to ASMR videos/audios can have a long term effect on your nervous system? I suffered from intense anxiety attacks/disorder for all my adult life but after using ASMR as my daily meditation this last year, I definitely suffer much less anxiety and even friends have commented on my more relaxed state. Things that used to send me into a tailspin simply don't any more. If this is the case, that regular ASMR meditation is changing my brain on some neurological level, then ASMR has a very important place as a therapeutic medicine and should be recognised as such.in the medical community. Is there any evidence to support or is it anecdotal like mine? Either way, it has changed my life and I am truly grateful to Nicola and a bunch of other wonderful artists who contribute amazing content here, including YvetteASMR. Thank you!
