The funny thing is if the DM was just a little more friendly this campaign sounds like fun. I’m the type that enjoys when the DM gives off the vibe that he could talk about his world for hours. Obviously there are DMs that take themselves to seriously but when they take the players engagement and world building to the next level those make the best games.
