Reasons why I’d totally get my palm read by Gary even though I don’t believe in it at all: 1. THIS IS THE BEST TYPE OF ASMR THAT I CANT FIND ANYWHERE. Unintentional, not whispering nor soft spoken, but speaking without screaming. Involving personal attention (even if I’m not the subject, Ill take it). And just kinda lightly touching and making comments and comparing. It’s so specific and rare when people do crazy characters with weird accents, who are fun and all, but this is the stuff that really comforts me. 11/10 I subscribed this is exactly the type of content. Especially fun with psychic type stuff like palm reading or tarrot. Found the Gary videos yesterday and have already viewed them 2x each! 2. Gary is careful not to say they have medical advice and makes a conscious effort not to create self fulfilling prophecies. I respect that so much. 3. Just because I think evolution didnt create a career line on my hand it’s still fun to hear things about yourself and reflect and think oh that’s fun! The way he does it feels more like an art form, like maybe I see something here, like accurate or not, he’s seeing markers on skin and telling a story and that’s super fun! 4. PERFECT ACCENT!!! GOOD VIBES!!!

This. Palm reading is up there with "spirit medium" for most bogus racket. Half of what she says is a bunch of vague observations that would apply to just about anyone and the other half is flattering stuff that people like to believe about themselves regardless if it's true. It's rounded out by asking leading questions that the subject answers and she pretends that their answer is confirmation of what she saw. It's an absolute crock, but it is relaxing to watch and listen to.

Positivity is a good trait for any mystical worker to have so I wouldn’t look it as “selling idealistic futures” lol.
