I see a lot of people reminiscing and talking about being calm with grace. I’m in the medical field and it reminds me of times when I first started like 20 years ago when people were so much more capable of just “being”. Staying still, not acting like they’re in withdrawal because they’ve spent 5 minutes not looking at their phone. I discuss blood pressure with my bf because it’s where I notice the most difference. People feel noticeably more awkward sitting in silence when I get their BP nowadays (I still it manually without a machine) and it’s concerning from a medical standpoint. It really tells me where we are headed as a society. But it makes me appreciate these videos where I can relax and I watch other people relax too 😊

We think we are learning a lot with so much easy access to information, but to learn and do anything difficult requires concentration for extended periods. And boring repetition. 70s gal here -- born in '78. My mom had a book on fashion color theory called "Color Me Beautiful," or something like that. It taught me a lot early on about what might look good on certain people. (It helped a lot when remembering what colors my mom and I were drawn to, and why.) So this was a bit of a trip down memory lane. Love how relaxing these videos are, even when I am listening with my Wonderboom speaker, and not my headphones. 😅

Love this channel; August is SO pretty and has that arty vibe. Lucy is beautiful and a great model with such gentle perfect manners! But I go back to this channel over and over because August has such a good technique with her ASMR, gentle voice and doesn't over-talk, lets the movements just happen. When she does vids with Lucy, it works perfectly because Lucy is so gentle and patient. Everyone has their style but I don't really enjoy the exaggerated sounds and too much talking or vanity vids of some ASMR artists. August tends to be more natural and more able to hold some silences.

It’s a real camera but there isn’t any film in it. It’s a Polaroid and pictures would pop out, but you’d have to wait for them to develop.
