did u know that brushing ur teeth after having red wine actually is worse for ur teeth than the red wine itself. the acid from the wine sits on your teeth and if u brush them it erodes them bc of the acid, but if u leave it, the acid will wash away when u drink water!!

i swear the weight i’ve gained this year is from not being able to dance all night in philly clubs ahaha. i’m surprised i’ve never seen you out i would love to!! have you ever been to concourse? it’s usually pretty fun and has a cheaper cover charge. they also have a ball pit which lots of people think is fun but honestly would gross me out lol

Hello from Hong Kong where I've lived the last 21 years (Korea for two before that), but I spent the first half of my life in Philly. No idea if they're still there, but spent a lot of time in McGlinchey's and Dirty Frank's over the years. Not a bar, but in High School we also used to go to a sushi joint called Hikaru on 2nd and South as they would serve us alcohol. Idiot 17/18 year olds spending $20 for sushi and sake to get messed up. Oh how I miss my youth. I have yet to watch this video, but I see you reference Woody's. At one point I was working nights covering Asia from Princeton. I worked 8pm to 4am Sunday to Friday (morning). I lived in Trenton with a gay Japanese roommate who also worked the Asia shift. One Friday for his birthday I took him to Philly to hang out with my friends and I. We bar hopped for a few hours, but at some point all of my friends wanted to just go home. Meanwhile, this guy and I were wide awake, as this was the middle of out day, so I took him to Woody's. So I'm trying to be a good host, but end up just being the awkward straight guy when I run into two of my classmates from high school. I mean, we all knew they were gay, but were in school in the 80s so they were not yet out in school. Such a surreal evening. It was a struggle to convince them I was only there for my friend.

i wish my experience was like yours at gay bars! I had a gay guy himself grope me multiple times. And there's plenty of obvious straight guys just eyeing you down while you dance. It really puts a damper on the night and I never feel like I can truly be free. I'll stay dancing in my room I guess 😂
