I bet she interpreted “we humans only do this with people we really like” as them just teaching her and didn’t realize they meant that they were only doing that stuff because they liked her. Reminds me of a conversation I had about Drax from the MCU. He’s not nearly as dumb as he seems -only missing metaphors because he’s overly literal- but is fairly dumb nonetheless. Just like how culture clash is only partially responsible for this dragonkin not picking up on Listener-San’s hints. 🤭
