Very good video, definitely did Poland justice. The history is obviously very long, one thing that i dont think you mentioned was the Battle of Vienna in 1683 against the Ottomans in which the Polish Winged Hussars came and defeated them saving the rest of Western Europe from ottoman rule, Polands like the giant wall that takes all the punches in a weird analogies. Our history may be sad tragic and long but we are proud. Your Polish was pretty good, i know a lot of people struggle with the Ł sound and all the consonant clusters. We have a funny name from this movie for that its - Gregorz brzęczyszczykiewicz. 😂 its so hard to say even Polish people struggle. The modern day Poland i would say is a sucess story in economics but the social issues are still a struggle with abortion, lgbt+ issues, mental health services, and overall right wing politics and the fact the church still dominates politics is crazy. But i still love it, im actually going to be moving to Poland at the end of summer to study at university either at University of Warsaw, or Jagiellonia(Kraków) University. Thank u again for your wonderful videos!

I'm so impressed. You realy did your homework. There are some minor inaccuracies, but even most of polish people won't notice them 😉. And don't worry about your pronounciation of polish words. You actualy speak polish better than I speak english

Lech Wałęsa - "W" in polish it's pounces like "V" in English. Letter "ł" it's pronauces like "w" in word wood. Letter "Ę" there is no sound in English like this letter, it is hard to describe how to prounce it. Polish words and names are super hard to prounce, you did a good job 👍.

6:26 Poland wasn't part of HRE ever, in this year Otto III came to our country to meet King Bolesław and pay his homage to St. Wojciech, who was made Saint in 999. Also we didn't get baptized in this year, it was under Mieszko's rule in 966

Not afraid of snakes myself, but I appreciate the trigger warning. Can't count how many times I freaked out when watching yt videos because a spider randomly appears. Wish other creators respected that
