I’m a first year teacher and tomorrow is the first day of school so this is perfect timing! I’m a resource and inclusion teacher but I don’t have access to my students IEPs so I don’t even know which kids to be extra support for. It’s just all a lot and I’m anxious as all get out Update for everyone that asked: it was a great first day! As a special education teacher that does resource and inclusion my whole job is working with kids that need the extra love and support. I’m working with great people that are helping with my anxieties about messing things up for these kids. Also all the kids I work with seem to really like me so far! I’m super excited for this year

I work in out of school care and our mission involves “youth who need us most.” We have a saying that any kid on any given day could need us most. I get that you want to know, but just pretend that ALL your students need extra support. Be supportive and inclusive for all and I think it will go great and you’ll figure out which students always need the support and which know they can use you for that when needed.

theory: sybil is a figment of the viewers imagination. the viewer struggles with stress and anxiety and uses sybil as a way to remove those anxieties and worries. since sybil can predict/always knows when the viewer is coming, it shows that the viewer knows in their mind when to tap in to the worry removal place in their mind. also, since the viewer only sees the supposed worry removal building when they need it, that shows the viewer recognizing that they need a break and need to relive their worries.
