Thank you for the art, the many layers produce an incredible effect. But I still really like your sketchbook flowers as well, so I hope you’ll do more of them too.

かいてきせんせい、これわとてもきれいです。このさくらはなはふわふわですね。 かわいい! Thank you for sharing this whole process with us :D I loved the vibrancy of the flowers. Seeing you craft the color of them by building it up layer by layer was so mesmerizing.

いつもありがとうございます!🥰ふわふわしたさくらにするためにたくさんのいろをかさねました! I used several shades of blue paint on the pink flowers and I think that made them look softer! 😊🎨

I'd love to learn more about nihonga! Do you have any books you would recommend? Maybe some art collection books? Edit: or maybe a list of some of your favorite nihonga artists?

I don't know if the book is available in your country, but Ito Jakuchu's detailed botanical drawings are my recent favorite😊
Hello, I have a question for you if I may. I noticed that when you were coloring the flower petals, towards the end of the video, you used two brushes, one to make the black stripes and the other to make it more realistic (I don't know how to say that word in English) and I wonder if the other brush was wet or dry? How do I use it correctly?
@kaitekiart7666 Жыл бұрын
I use a wet brush to blur the colors 🖌 It works better if you use a soft brush.
Hello Lauren Artist, I am hoping you can find a way for links to set up, or just the ability to learn the English language words for all of the beautiful and varied art mediums you have made and used in this beautiful painting! I am just guessing on some of what you made for this lovely painting; Sumi type inks in a variety of color sticks, many powdered single pigments with added water, the larger cloth coveted bowl with 1 king of powered white pigment and then you took a small glass jar and shook out a small amount of a different white pigment. You added water, made sure it was completely mixed and then added more watet, the resulting paint from this mix is what you used to repaint the white flowers over your earlier addition of faint washes of rose-reds, purples, yellows, using n them to create wonderuos shadows. Then you brought out stronger paints to create the centers of some of the flowers adding gold in other flower centers + the gold metal of the earring with a greenish gemstone. I am a fan of your art and your style, I live in California, USA, any advise on how to find similar brands/ makers of these art mediums you use, I would really appreciate! Thank you, Kris

I must apologize about my written questions to you that are right below in my first message. I was typing on a Kindle tablet, that has "autocorrect spelling". It often changes the letters in words I have typed and in the split second when my words leave my page and appear in your Comments section.... Spelling mistakes occur and I fear the meaning will be altered if you try to translate what I wrote. I'm told I need a better phone that can translate languages so quickly its almost magic! Thank you, Kris
