It's actually not anything weird as to why the safety drill was called off. The captain was retiring, Titanic was his last voyage. He wanted a last Sunday service, so they held that and cancelled the drill. So sad how things work out sometimes.

There is a titanic museum in Branson, MO as well! You get a card at the beginning of the tour and it’s a person that was on the ship, and once you get to the end you see if you survived or not. Also they have an iceberg inside for you to touch. Pretty cool place!

The grand staircase and the dome is in Belfast only open for weddings and private functions. Great to see you have a great interest in such an important part of history. I’m 25 minutes away from the last place it docked Queenstown now known as Cobh sounds like Cove in Cork Ireland! Great video 👍🏼

obviously i’m very late to this video but, the Titanic actually had very good contact with other cities/countries! one of the reasons the ship hit was because the telegraphers were so busy sending personal messages to families of first class passengers that they didn’t feel the need to deliver all of the iceberg warnings! the man in charge at the time the last warning came in ( i don’t remember his name ) actually yelled “SHUT UP!” by the time the last warning came i only minutes before the iceberg hit!
