🌱 what is ASMR?🌱
ASMR, or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, is described as a tingly sensation or feeling that travels from the base of the scalp down the limbs and can manifest in different parts of the body. It causes a lovely, relaxing feeling to the people who experience it, as well as sometimes pleasant 'shivers', and can help with things like insomnia or trouble sleeping. It can occur in situations like hearing a particular sound or 'trigger', and many people experience varying degrees of the phenomenon. Not everyone who listens or watches ASMR videos experiences the sensation however! Some people utilize the sounds of a soothing voice or certain trigger(s) to help fall asleep or relax, without feeling the 'tingles'. It is a blossoming community online, whose main purpose is to bring tranquility and tingles to whoever enjoys it! ✧

My first knee-jerk reaction was "this video isn't for me" because things like travelling, careers and going back to school are a far cry from anything I'll be capable of this year, and paying rent on time is about as much wealth as I can hope for while in crippling medical debt. But then I reminded myself that none of these videos are 'for me', I didn't commission them and I've been lucky enough to find many that I've connected with and that have helped me so much. So I'm going to take the energy from this video and interpret it a little differently. Maybe 'wealth' can be 'health'. Maybe 'travel' can be 'well enough to leave the apartment a bit more often'. Maybe 'school' and 'career' can be 'teaching myself a new skill' when I can't go out. It could still be a good year if I put the work in. Thanks Ella :)

i think it's soooo fitting that for this reading that every card except the knight was major arcana ! major arcana tends to equate to major life themes, while minor arcana is more in the moment. so the fact that the only minor card was that young, creative energy just makes it more dynamic :D
