I kind of wish there were ASMR therapy spa's for stress relief. You can get a massage which are expensive, but ASMR roleplaying medical examinations like these can be relaxing for people with various mental health issues like anxiety or depression for example. It would have to be a completely new industry providing non medical roleplaying examinations for simple stress relief. 30 minutes to an hour. All the things showcased seem relaxing like cranial exams, thyroid (neck) exams, percussion tapping with fingers around face, torso & neck, eye exams with tools, stethoscope 🩺 examinations. All non medical roleplaying ASMR therapy stress relief. If you and other ASMR KZbinrs did this in such a way I'd bet money people would pay for an hour or so once a month. It would have to be advertised as non medical relaxation therapy. But in the meantime these videos are just as relaxing.

I did go to 4 years of nursing school and worked as a nurse for 3 years in the hospital with real people. Most of it is improv but also lots of the things I say in my exams are exaggerated or adapted to the ASMR world. These are role-plays and I'm only acting.

Why can’t we ever see asmr medical exams done on people with actual issues? As in a middle aged or elderly person? Where the very same process occurs, but you identify problems? Or younger people with chronic issues? Every single patient has nothing wrong with them. Far more interesting, and satisfying,to see real people. Just a thought.

Also because it would be against American healthcare laws. Unless she kept her nursing certification updated, including the exams, then Mad would have to have the patient fill out paperwork consenting to have their information shared online or through third-party resources (of which KZbin is considered for medical resources) and file that with her health board plus other issues, including HIPAA (a set of laws prohibiting sharing of medical information unless the patient is a minor or has specifically signed paperwork giving their medical practioner permission to share their information to parents, family members, etc). Despite it being ASMR, by staying with healthy people as “patients” it avoids any legal issues arising.
