I'm thinking spray painting the base and arms would have looked better than brush painting but it came out nice :> I'd like to get one of these and make up my own little solar system full of weirdly colored planets.

Yeah, spray paint might have worked but I didn't actually want it to look shiny- I'd rather it looked old, if you know what I mean. I may still add faux patina later. Also spray paint would mean ventilation/ going outside and it was 2am and raining, lol!

Sugar Kane KaBoom Heh, well, I think *astrologers* still give full planet status to Pluto, but *astronomers* do not- Don't mind my nitpicking. Really though, if we let Pluto fall within the planet category, we would also have to include all other "dwarf planets" (planetary-mass objects that are neither a planet nor a satellite) which would mean we have 50-60 planets in our solar system, which would make my orrery construction a tiny bit more complicated. Interestingly, Pluto is not the largest dwarf planet- that distinction goes to the awesomely named "Eris". THANK YOU for watching Sugar!
